STEPHANIE & CORY SEEGMILLER COME TO VIENNA

OCTOBER 5, 2015
Our daughter, Stephanie, and husband Cory made a weeklong visit to Vienna.  We packed in as much as we could into their short time here.

  Roger took Stephanie and Cory on a beautiful 10-mile bike ride along the Danube River

 

 Then we rented a car and made a trip to the beautiful town of Hallstaat on Hallstaater Lake

                                           Cory and Stephanie rode to the top of the mountain

and rode through the salt mine and slid down the very long slide at the end.

 

   In Hallstaat Cory bought a Trachtenjacke

 

 Back in Vienna we attended the Volksoper

                          On a very rainy day we went into the Demel baker to have a pastry

                                              and ended up eating a yummy lunch. 

                      We were so excited for our pastry that we ordered it first to eat

                                           while our lunch was being prepared. 

                 Cory is having some Frankfurter and Stephanie chose pumpkin soup.

    I'm homesick for Vienna now!! That was such a special time with you and Dad. I loved every minute of our trip (okay, except for the part where I almost lost my toes walking from museum to museum all night! Ha ha. I wouldn't trade that, though, for a second!). Thank you so much for having us and for being such accommodating and wonderful parents and hosts. I love and miss you both!
